Further to the Canadian Government’s ongoing consultation process on the modernization of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), you are cordially invited to attend a town hall meeting hosted by the Honourable Matt DeCourcey, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. 
 
As the Government continues discussions with the United States and Mexico on the renegotiation of NAFTA, some of the issues that the government would like to hear from you include:
  • Areas of the agreement that could be clarified;
  • Areas that should be updated;
  • Any new sections that should form part of a modernized agreement.

BIOGRAPHY

Matt DeCourcey was elected in October 2015 as a Member of Parliament for the riding of Fredericton, New Brunswick. In January 2017, Matt was appointed the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. He is Chair of the government’s Youth Caucus and served on the Special Committee on Pay Equity and the Special Committee on Electoral Reform.

Mr. DeCourcey was born, raised, and educated in Fredericton.
