Faculty/Staff E-mail
Your e-mail can be accessed at https://mail.stu.ca/ or via the St. Thomas website. You can access your webmail from any computer.
STU’s web based e-mail requires you to login which is, not necessarily the same password as Novell. Please Contact IT Services if you do not know this password. If you know your password, and wish to change this password you can login to webmail and under the Settings Tab where there is a Password Tab in which you can enter your old password and replace with a new password.
Please note if you use Outlook or another mail client to access your webmail account, changing this password will prompt you for the password when accessing your mail. If this happens simply enter your new password and check the box to remember the password for future sessions.
If you are setting up your e-mail to an e-mail client (outlook, apple email, iphone etc.), the mail setting you need to know as follows:
Account type: IMAP
Incoming Mail Sever: mail.stu.ca
Outgoing Mail Sever: mail.stu.ca
Incoming server (IMAP): 993
Outgoing sever (SMTP): 465
Type of encrypted Connection: SSL
