Student Computer Login
Student Computer Login
Novell is your own unique username and password that allows you to access computer services on campus.
When you first received your student information from the University, you were given a username (five random letters) and a PIN number. (If you don’t have this information with you; you can visit the James Dunn Hall Computer Lab where a lab assistant will assist you in finding your login information that information [with Student ID]!)
You can change your password at any time, by hitting Ctrl+Alt+Delete at the same time at a computer lab and click on Change a Password…
You can also ask a lab assistant to change it for you [by providing your student ID card]
What do you use your Novell information for?
Your Novell username and password allows you to log into any lab computer where you can access the internet, word process, use campus software for courses and printing.
You can connect to our wireless networks:
- STU-Secure which is our most secure network
- STU-Wireless an un-secure network for quick access
- STU@HIL wireless network at the HIL library
You can sign into Moodle
You can login to the computers at the Harriet Irving Library, access the HIL website off-campus with this information, and review your account information at the library.
Note: Your Novell account, your Web Advisor account and your STU e-mail account are all different accounts. Your user name will be the same for all three and the initial password (your PIN) will be the same for all three. If you would like to set the same password for all three, you may do so. If you make a change to one password, however, it will not automatically change the passwords for the other two accounts.
