Fifth year senior players Kayla Blackmore, Courtney Fox, and Julia Sharun stepped on home ice for the final time on Saturday night and all turned out excpetional performances. They shared player of the game honours as Sharun was 1:20 away from a second straight shutout, Fox recorded an assist, and Blackmore had three points, including the winner. Blackmore opened the scoring six minutes into the first and chipped in the second goal early in the second period. Stephanie Gates deposited the third goal when she found the rebound by the side of the net off a great play by McTaggart. Kenya Marcelline buried the cross-crease pass from Blackmore for the fourth goal and Marcelline's fourth point of the night. Having already locked up the second seed in the AUS standings, the Tommies came in lose and cruised to victory against a team they will face Thursday in game one of the AUS playoffs in Sackville, NB.

W1-0
More
Keyna Marcelline’s goal with 1:23 to go broke the scoreless deadlock and lifted STU past Mount Allison on Wednesday night. The goal spoiled the shutout bid for Kate O’Brien, who made her first career AUS start in the Mounties goal. Marcelline dug the puck out of a crowd in the slot and fired it blocker side past O’Brien. The teams combined to wire six shots off the post and corssbar. But the Tommies were able to hold on and squeak out the win. The win was the second 1-0 victory in a row – one for each of the Tommies netmiders Sharun (Monday) and Wolfe (tonight). The Tommies improve to 15-7-1, good enough to clinch second spot in the AUS standings.

UPEI
W1-0
More
The Tommies got an important hard-fought win over the UPEI Panthers on Monday night to move three points up on SMU in the standings and three up on UPEI for second in the AUS. On a night that featured eight power play opportunities for STU and three for UPEI, the only goal came shorthanded. With six and a half minutes remaining in the first, Kayla Blackmore tracked down the puck and took it in on a breakaway, went to the backhand and roofed over the shoulder of Marie Deschenes. From then on, the Tommies had 14 minutes on the power play, only to be shut down by the Panthers' penalty kill and Deschenes. Despite spending their fair share of time shorthanded, the Panthers had their chances coming close only to be turned away by Julia Sharun who turned a very solid performance and her fifth shutout of the season. The game wraps up the season series with the Tommies, with the home teams winning each game and the Tommies not allowing a goal on home ice. STU hits the road to face Mount A on Wednesday to make up the game scheduled for last Saturday.
