The Yellow Box Gallery in partnership with the Atlantic Human Rights Center will be featuring the work of artist Kate MacDonald in a solo exhibition of still life paintings entitled Last Meals

MacDonald’s work has garnered international attention and is based on the artist's research into the last meals consumed by prisoners sentenced to death.

The opening reception will take place on October 4 at 5 pm on the third floor of McCain Hall St. Thomas University. The exhibition runs until November 12.

Panel Discussion

The Last Meals exhibition opening reception will be preceded by a panel discussion with the participation of the artist Kate MacDonald, Marc Gionet Director of the Atlantic Human Rights Center and Dr. Rodger Wilkie on the
subject of art, culture and human rights.

The panel discussion will take place in the Kinsella Auditorium at 4 pm on Oct. 4.
