Stephen Scott’s exhibition will continue until October 7.
The Yellow Box Gallery and the St. Thomas University Fine Arts Department is pleased to present a new body of landscape paintings by Stephen Scott.  The gallery is located on the third floor of McCain Hall, overlooking the study hall.

Scott was born in New Brunswick and attended Mount Allison University before pursuing a career as a visual artist. He has since gone on to develop one of the most transcendent bodies of landscape painting in Atlantic Canada revealing a rare depth of both psychological and aesthetic appreciation for eastern Canada.

Scott’s new exhibition Newfoundland Suite is based on works recently completed during his travels through the province. The exhibition offers a profile of his remarkable proficiency as a painter and his unique aesthetic sensibility that reinterprets the Newfoundland landscape through the eyes of one of Canada’s leading landscape painters.

The exhibition will continue until October 7th.
