The Yellow Box Gallery and the St. Thomas University Fine Arts Department is pleased to present a new body of sculptural work by the Halifax based artist Mark Whidden.

Mark Whidden is one of a number of contemporary artists committed to the challenge of creating art and defining a contemporary and expanded sculptural dialogue in Atlantic Canada.  Whidden has exhibited his work in Canada and the United States over the last 25 years. His exhibition "Light at the End of the Tunnel" offers a unique insight into the practice of contemporary sculpture in the Maritimes, and is his first exhibition in New Brunswick.

The artist will be present for a talk Thursday January 30 in McCain Hall 101 at 4 pm, and the opening of the exhibition at 5 pm on the third floor of McCain Hall. All are welcome.
