The STU Fine Arts Department cordially invites you to the opening reception for *Fleshold*, a multidisciplinary installation by D'Arcy Wilson in the Yellow Box Gallery (3rd floor MMH). This Tuesday, February 22nd, D'Arcy will be giving an artist talk at 4 pm (MMH 101) which will be followed by a 5 pm reception in the gallery. All are welcome to view the work, meet the artist, and enjoy light refreshments. D'Arcy Wilson is a part-time faculty member in the Fine Arts Department at STU. Wilson holds a BFA from Mount Allison University and a MFA from the University of Calgary. Her practice maneuvers a cross-disciplinary terrain exploring the psychological consequences of North America's disconnect with wildlife. Wilson has exhibited in New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Calgary, Edmonton, and Japan. She has received creation grants from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts and The New Brunswick Arts Board. *Fleshold*, is Wilson's most recent body of work. It explores human gestures of nurturing and questions whether or not they can translate to wild animals.
