Multicultural Association of Fredericton Cultural Expressions Festival

In celebration of Canadian Multiculturalism Day, the Multicultural Association of Fredericton Inc. (MCAF) will coordinate the fourth annual Cultural Expressions Festival in partnership with local ethno-cultural groups, School District 18 and community organizations.

The Cultural Expressions Festival 2012 will be held on June 22 & 23 in Officers’ Square.

This year’s theme, The World through the Great Gate, will feature the rich South Korean heritage and showcase dance, music, art, ethnic displays and food of the diverse cultures represented by Fredericton’s 14 ethno-cultural groups.

• Cultural performances
• Display of Korean masks

• over 80 cultural performances
• cultural exhibits and demonstrations of cultures and crafts
• Activities for Families (Sat, June 23rd, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm) 
• dance workshops
• international food for purchase
• a multicultural parade (Sat, June 23rd, 5 pm)
