St. Thomas University’s First Student Art Gallery Opens in Sir James Dunn Hall
Published: Wednesday, Apr 11, 2012
The first art exhibition of solely student work called “Last Minute Madness” opened Tuesday, April 10 on the second floor of Sir James Dunn Hall.
The new student art gallery was developed as a part of the Concepts in Painting (FNAR 2193) class in response to the need to have a specific and recognized exhibition space for student art works and projects on campus. It now offers a space for a range of critical inquiry into the visual arts and offers students an opportunity to organize and display art works in a public setting.
The exhibition will continue through the summer until September 30, 2012.
