St. Thomas University Begins Search for Vice President (Advancement)

St. Thomas University is an undergraduate, liberal arts institution whose
roots are in the educational tradition of the Roman Catholic Church. With
a full time enrolment of 2,500, students graduate with Bachelor of Arts,
Applied Arts, Education and Social Work degrees. Located in Fredericton,
New Brunswick, St. Thomas University is proud to offer its students small

As the University’s first Vice President (Advancement), you will work to build
the Advancement office from the ground up. Focused on friend and fund
raising and alumni engagement, you will develop the infrastructure that will
support a successful Advancement function. Your top priorities will include
being responsible for creating and introducing a sustainable annual fund
development plan and capital fund raising plan, building an experienced
alumni affairs and advancement team, enhancing current programs, and
fostering stronger relationships with alumni and friends of the University. You will participate in the University’s senior leadership team and contribute
to the success of the University.

With an impressive track record in fund development, leadership, and
relationship management, you are driven to achieve results and are
never happy with the status quo. Experienced in traditional fund raising
programs such as major gifts, annual campaigns and planned giving, you
bring an innovative and fresh approach to your work. You have the ability to
create new initiatives and programs that will increase alumni engagement,
volunteerism and philanthropic support.
