Faculty Funding for Student Employment

NBIF Research Assistantship Initiative
All academic and research organizations in New Brunswick can apply for funding under the RAI. While all disciplines are considered, emphasis is placed on applications that relate to one of the NBIF strategic industries or for the purpose of education and training. Research programs that demonstrate value-added relationships with the private sector are encouraged.

The Student Employment and Experience Development Program
SEED is a program offered by the Province of New Brunswick and was introduced in an effort to ensure that employment opportunities are available to students who need work experience as part of their eventual integration in the workplace.

Canada Summer Jobs
This program is a Service Canada initiative that provides funding for not-for-profit organizations, public-sector employers, and small businesses with 50 or fewer employees to create high-quality summer job opportunities for students between the ages of 15 and 30.
