SSHRC Videoconference for STU Faculty

The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) will hold a videoconference and information session for interested STU faculty members on June 7th, 2012, from 1pm-3pm (Atlantic time) in BMH 313. The goal of the session is to provide information about their funding opportunities and new developments. Among recent developments within SSHRC are:

- The newly announced Connection Grants.
- The introduction of a mandatory Notice of Intent (NOI) step before the Insight Grants competition. An applicant who has not submitted an NOI by August 15, 2012 will be ineligible to submit the full application in the October 2012 competition.

There will be a presentation and attending participants will be able to ask questions during the Q&A portion of the videoconference session.

To facilitate room booking and other logistics for this session, please register by emailing Josephine Adda (jadda@unb.ca) by 4:00pm on Monday, June 4th.

Note: This is not a webinar and individuals will not be able to sign in remotely from their own computers. To participate, you will need to join the group videoconference hosted at a designated venue to be announced.
