Undergraduate Human Rights Programme at Saint Thomas University St. Thomas University offers a unique undergraduate programme in human rights. Students who wish to study human rights will do so as a double major. In this way, the programme provides an innovative approach to the study of human rights as an interdisciplinary programme which will provide a richer understanding of human rights and issues relating to human rights. This programme enables the student to understand human rights issues as well as their historical and philosophical background. Along with the required courses in human rights, students will be able to choose from a variety of electives in the areas of social issues, law, philosophical foundations, and institutions and their application. In addition, the AHRC is committed to assisting students become aware of exta- curricular possibilities within the realm of human rights both during and following thier studies at St. Thomas University.
