Coaching Staff 2009–2010

Mike Eagles, a former AUS and CIS Coach of the Year, is entering his eighth season as Head Coach of the Tommies. In his seven years, Mike has guided the Tommies into the playoffs five times and four times to the league semi-finals. With his extensive pro background, Mike brings a lot of hockey experience to the position. Mike strives to lead his players to success on and off the ice.

Brad is entering his second season with the Tommies. Brad spent several years as an assistent with UNB and has won two National Championships. He has also worked as an assistant in the OHL with North Bay under former UNB and Vancouver Canuck assistant coach Mike Kelly.

DIRECTOR OF TEAM SERVICES/ ASSISTANT COACH: Don Feeney

Don is entering his eighth season with the Tommies. Doc, as he is called around the room, is invaluable to the Tommies as he coaches, manages, compiles stats, watches video and completes daily tasks necessary for a smooth operation. As a AAA Bantam coach for 18 years in Fredericton, many of our current Tommies played for him during that time. The Tommies feel very fortunate to have Doc as part of their coaching staff.

Aaron is back with the Tommies for his forst full year as part of teh coaching staff. He played five years for the Tommies, was an AUS all-star and team MVP. Aaron also won a gold medal with Team Canada at the World University Games in Torino, Italy in 2007.

STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH : Chris Beaudoin

Chris Beaudoin joins the Tommies coaching staff this year as our strength and conditioning coach. Chris brings a strong passion for the game and a solid background in hockey conditioning Chris has worked extensively with Richard St. Pierre who is regarded as the top Personal Trainer in Fredericton. A UNB student who is finishing up his KIN degree, Chris is a great addition to the Tommies coaching staff.
