New Visions of Nature, Science and Religion aims to “1) develop a new, comprehensive scholarly vision of biophysical and human nature as the basis for a new vision of science & religion.  2) create a unique research and educational climate at UC Santa Barbara to promote progress in our understanding of nature, science, and religion.  3) Provide a credible scholarly resource on nature, science and religion to the general public.”


The Forum on Religion and Ecology

This is the largest international multi-relgious project that explores religious worldviews, texts and ethics in order to broaden understanding of the complex nature of environmental concerns.

This link goes to a special issue of Cross Currents that offers an overview of an emerging movement of ecotheology: the connection of ecology and theology.  As people rethink their relationship with their environment, they are finding a deeper relationship between their spirituality and ecology.  The compilation includes articles from 1994 and since.

A List of Books on Eco-Theology

A comprehensive list of resources hosted by The Churches’ Agency on Social Issues (Methodist, Presbyterian, Churches of Christ, Quakers) which is a Christian Agency dealing with social, economic, ecological, and political matters in Aotearoa, NZ.  The list of resources has over 50 titles listed.
