This Research Clusterhas been developed with the support of the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) and St. Thomas University.
This cluster builds on existing academic, community and student connections that are important as collaborators, participants and partners. The cluster will enable all participants to interact more effectively and to form new coalitions and relationships, which will help to ensure maximum knowledge impact thorough the dissemination of research and practice developments, and the creation of new opportunities for research activity. Through these activities this cluster will meet SSHRC’s core values: Creating new opportunities for students and researchers; spurring thinking into new areas; promoting effective interaction between community people and academics; and allowing for new alliances to be formed between community and the academy.
