Hello St. Thomas!

Melissa Wah here, so as many of you may already know spring elections are upon us. In this election I am hoping to get your vote as second year Aquinian Board of Directors Representative. I am currently in my first year here at STU and will be in my second this fall. In my time at STU I plan to study Journalism and Political Science.

 I sat on the board this past year as first year rep. It was a great learning experience, and now going into my second year I would have a better knowledge of what to expect while sitting on the board. The Aquinian is a great part of this school and I hope you give me the chance to represent you on this board.

Kyle Laverty—Aquinian B.O.D 3rd year rep

Hi, my name is Kyle Laverty.  And I am a second year Philosophy Student from Moncton. I am running for the position of 3rd year representative for the Aquinian’s Board Of Directors. I am running for this position because I believe I have something to contribute to the continued improvement of our student paper.

I believe that while our paper is currently quite good, it could be better and should be better. The students deserve to have the best possible paper available to them and I firmly believe I can make this happen.

Brian Tait—Aquinian B.O.D 4th year rep

My name is Bryan Tait and I’m running for the position of 4th year rep on the Aquinian Board of Directors. I’m a 3rd year Journalism and English major and this year I held the position of 3rd year rep on the Aquinian Board of Directors. In this position this year I, along with the rest of the board, ratified a new constitution for the Aquinian and its board. Holding a position on the board this year has provided me with valuable experience, and I feel that there is much I can continue to offer to the board in the coming year. Dan Murphy—Aquinian Member at Large

Hello fellow St-Thomas Students, my name is Dan “Murph” Murphy. I am from Rexton NB and am currently in my third year at St-Thomas University doing, a double major in History/Political Science. I am also running for the member at large on the Aquinian board of directors. I believe that the Aquinian is fundamental to St-Thomas University, and for the Aquinian to continue to flourish it needs a strong board to back it. I for one would like to help the Aquinian to continue to grow through this board. I have much experience on boards of this sort from my time spent on the Student Union Building Board of Directors and as the Harrington Hall House President and on various other committees.
